Getting Skyelynn's ears pierced

Well this past Monday my parents came up and my mom, Skyelynn and I went shopping and we got Skyelynn's ears pierced. And she done a great job! I put her up on the chair and I asked her is she wanted me to hold her hands and she smiled and said "NO" and so then I asked her if I could hold her hands and she said "NO" again. I felt sad, because I think I needed to be comforted more than she did over the deal. The ladies done both her ears at the same time and she was able to hold a bear while they put the holes in her ears. After they were done she just looked and my mom and I and we said good job, what a big girl you are. And she just smiled and I asked her if it hurt and she said "NO". So off went home to show daddy, papa and Nate.

Fall and Raking Leaves

A few weeks ago Nate was out of school so we decided to go and take a few pictues down by the lake with all the fall leaves. The weather was great other than the wind blowing, but we finally got the pictues all done and for the most part they all turned out pretty good. After that we went home and Jason and the kids raked the leaves in front of the house and loaded up 14 bags of leaves and that was just the front! WOW!!! They had a good time helping daddy and jumping in the big piles of leaves.

Skyelynn At The Pumpkin Patch

Skyelynn and her Pre-School class went Friday to the Pumpkin Patch and were able to pick out 1 pumpkin and take it home. She loved being able to go and pick out which one she wanted! After the patch her and I headed to Bolivar to spend the weekend with my parents and my brother. It was Kody's 21st birthday!! So on Saturday morning she got to ride Uncle Kody's donkey and set on one of his horses before we all got ready to watch him rope that afternoon. She also got to pick veggies with papa in their garden. We had a great weekend together!

Nate and Skyelynn's Birthday Parties with Family and Friends

Wow! It's hard to believe that our kids are 7 and 4. Where does the time go? The kids were able to celebrate their birthdays with family and friends back at the begining of September at my parents house. They had a great time playing with their friends and cousins.

Nate and a great birthday on Wednesday 24th. I made him cookies and put Spidermans Web on them and his classmates loved them. Jason took him Taco Bell for lunch and was able to eat at school with him and then later I took him the cookies to share with his classmates. From Jason and I he got his very own set of golf clubs that him and daddy and go and have father and son time together along with a kids bow and arrow. He loved them and was very suprised! Him and Jason have been practicing out back with the bow and arrows and he is doing pretty good.

As for Skyelynn today was her birthday and one of the first things she asked me this morning was if she was still 3 or if she was 4 today. She has been so confused on if she is really 3 or 4, since we have had 2 different parties for her. I told her that today she was really 4 and she was excited! She has had a great day also. She wanted to eat at Burger King for her birthday lunch and so we got and brought it home and we had a picnic in the house and watch a new movie she got for her birthday.

This past Friday I also made her cookies to take to her Pre-School class which were butterfilies and the kids really enjoyed them too!

I will try and keep this up to date on our family, sorry if I get a little behind.
